It is indeed a pleasure for me to write these few lines for the Dhī Poject, started recently by an enterprising team of two bright young ladies, Dr. Vrushali Potnis-Damle and Ms. Anusha Gavankar. The project took shape after many years of exploration by this team in the fields of Indology, Indian philosophy and systems of knowledge. The word Dhī in Sanskrit means delving into intellectual pursuits, reflection, a study of thought processes and so on. It is with this in mind that the team decided to invite experts in the fields of linguistics, mythology, aesthetics, culture, history, archaeology and mysticism, to name a few, to give talks to a worldwide audience. Within a short space of time, these ladies have organized talks in many of these endeavours. I have been lucky to have been invited to contribute to this wonderful project and I greatly admire the thought behind this initiative.
I would suggest that in the long run, these talks should be put into book form each year. They will thus become an important source of knowledge from those who have devoted themselves to and researched particular disciplines. I wish the project every success, which is well deserved.

The Dhī Project is indeed a very good platform which brings together academicians, researchers and knowledge experts to quench the thirst of knowledge seekers. Though it is still young in its age, I am sure it will reach new heights and horizons thereby providing various opportunities to the experts as well as learners. I wish the Dhī Project and its team a very bright future in all its endeavours!

I have attended a few online programs on Indian Philosophy organized under the Dhī Project. I found the sessions extremely good. The resource persons are very informed and provide a scholarly view of the various topics. What I most like is the way the speakers bring out the unique perspectives of the different thinkers and schools and thus provide us with a holistic view of the topic. It’s s pleasure to have been associated with Dhī. I wish the organisers the very best and look forward to more programs in future.

The Dhī project is an excellent initiative to bring people closer to their roots. For a lot of people like me who are very interested in knowing and learning more about our Vedas, Upanishads, etc. but do have the time to enroll in physical classes, this has come as a blessing in disguise. The Dhī project has provided a good platform for many to make the best use of time in this lockdown period and also enrich our knowledge. The structure and content of all the sessions held so far have been very good and have left many of us asking for more. I really look forward to many such sessions and wish the Dhī project team “all the best”.

“An illuminating and enlightening experience”. For a person who has very rudimentary knowledge of the vedas and Upanishads and Indian Philosophy in general, these lectures have opened up a whole new way of thinking for me and literally blown my mind! The panelists are all erudite and articulate speakers who are experts in their fields special mention of Ms. Sujata Gawde, Mr. Madhusudan Penna , Dr. Rajeshwar Mukherjee. I have attended two Upanishads lecture series and one Lajjagauri lecture . The lectures are the right duration, perfectly paced and easy to grasp. A very big thank you to DHI for attempting to spread the understanding of these esoteric texts and deep philosophical ideas. Just Brilliant , they do it beautifully.
